French Door Refrigerator

Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Adjustable wrench
  • Level
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Tape measure
  • Water line kit (if connecting to water supply)

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a location with proper ventilation, away from heat sources and direct sunlight, on a solid, level floor.
  2. Remove Packaging Materials: Remove all shipping materials, tape, and protective films from the refrigerator interior and exterior.
  3. Adjust Leveling Legs: Adjust the front leveling legs to ensure the refrigerator is level from front to back and side to side for proper door operation.
  4. Connect Water Supply (if applicable): Connect the water supply line to the refrigerator's water inlet valve for ice maker and water dispenser operation.
  5. Electrical Connection: Connect to a properly grounded 120V, 60Hz, AC only outlet. Do not use an extension cord or power strip.
  6. Allow Space for Ventilation: Ensure at least 1 inch of clearance on sides and back, and 2 inches at the top for proper airflow.
  7. Initial Setup: Allow the refrigerator to stand upright for 4 hours before plugging in. Set desired temperatures and run initial ice maker cycle.
Warning: Professional installation is recommended for water line connections and to ensure proper operation and maintain warranty coverage.
