Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Adjustable wrench
  • Level
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Pliers
  • Tape measure

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Place on a solid, level floor near water and electrical connections with proper ventilation.
  2. Remove Shipping Materials: Remove all shipping bolts, brackets, and packing materials from the washer.
  3. Connect Water Supply: Connect hot and cold water inlet hoses to corresponding faucets. Use GE recommended hoses.
  4. Connect Drain Hose: Install drain hose into standpipe or laundry tub with proper height to prevent siphoning.
  5. Electrical Connection: Connect to a grounded 120V, 60Hz outlet. Do not use extension cords or adapters.
  6. Level the Washer: Adjust the four leveling legs to ensure washer is perfectly level in all directions.
  7. Initial Test Run: Run a calibration cycle to check for leaks, proper operation, and balance.
