Step-by-Step Installation
- Choose Installation Location: Select a location with proper ventilation, away from heat sources and direct sunlight on a solid, level floor.
- Remove Packaging Materials: Remove all shipping materials, tape, and protective films from the refrigerator interior and exterior.
- Adjust Leveling Legs: Adjust the front leveling legs to ensure the refrigerator is level from front to back and side to side for proper door operation.
- Clearance Requirements: Ensure minimum clearances: 1 inch at back, 2 inches at top, and 1 inch on both sides for proper air circulation.
- Electrical Connection: Connect to a properly grounded 120V, 60Hz, AC only outlet. Do not use an extension cord or power strip.
- Water Line Connection (Ice Maker): Connect water supply line to the refrigerator's water inlet valve using a certified water line kit.
- Initial Setup: Allow refrigerator to stand upright for 4 hours before plugging in. Set temperature controls and run initial ice maker cycle.
