Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Adjustable wrench
  • Level
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Pliers
  • Tape measure
  • Stacking kit (included)

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Prepare Installation Area: Ensure floor is level, solid, and can support combined weight of both units (approximately 300 lbs).
  2. Position Washer: Place washing machine in desired location, ensuring 4-inch clearance at back and sides for ventilation and connections.
  3. Connect Water Supply: Connect hot and cold water supply lines to the washing machine inlet valves. Use only new hoses.
  4. Install Drain Hose: Route drain hose into standpipe or laundry tub with proper high loop installation to prevent siphoning.
  5. Prepare Dryer: For electric models, connect to 240V outlet. For gas models, ensure proper gas line connection by qualified technician.
  6. Install Stacking Kit: Attach stacking bracket to top of washer following manufacturer instructions included with kit.
  7. Stack Dryer: Carefully lift and place dryer onto stacking bracket, ensuring secure attachment.
  8. Vent Dryer: Connect 4-inch diameter vent hose to dryer exhaust, ensuring minimal bends and proper exterior venting.
  9. Test Units: Run both washer and dryer through test cycles to check for proper operation, leaks, and vibrations.
Warning: Stacking must be performed by two people. All gas connections must be made by qualified technician to prevent gas leaks and maintain warranty.

Troubleshooting
