Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Ensure proper location and clearances.

  1. Position the refrigerator: Allow at least 1 inch of clearance on sides and back for ventilation.
  2. Level the refrigerator: Adjust the front leveling legs so doors close and seal properly.
  3. Connect to water supply: Attach the copper water line to the shut-off valve and refrigerator inlet.
  4. Plug into a dedicated 120V AC, 15-amp grounded outlet.
  5. Allow 24 hours for the ice maker to produce the first batch of ice.

WARNING! The refrigerator is heavy; use two people to move it. Ensure the water line connection is tight to prevent leaks.

First-Time Setup

After installation, power on the refrigerator and configure initial settings.

  1. Set temperatures: Press the TEMPERATURE pad. Default is 37°F for fridge and 0°F for freezer.
  2. Enable Turbo Cool/Freeze: Press the respective pad for rapid cooling if needed.
  3. Lock the controls: Press and hold the LOCK pad for 3 seconds to prevent accidental changes.
  4. Flush the water system: Dispense and discard the first 2 gallons of water to clear the system.

CAUTION! Do not load food until the refrigerator has reached the set temperatures.

Dispenser Light: Turns the dispenser area light on/off.

Using the Water & Ice Dispenser

Dispense chilled water or ice without opening the refrigerator doors.

  1. Select ice type: Press ICE TYPE to choose between cubed or crushed ice.
  2. For water: Press a glass against the water paddle. Release to stop.
  3. For ice: Press a glass against the ice paddle. The dispenser will release ice until the paddle is released.
  4. To turn off ice dispensing: Lift the freezer door ice maker shut-off arm.

Tip: The first ice production may take up to 24 hours. Discard the first few batches.

Food Storage Tips

Organize food to maximize freshness and energy efficiency.

  1. Refrigerator Shelves: Store ready-to-eat foods, dairy, and leftovers on upper shelves.
  2. Crispers: Use for fruits and vegetables. Adjust humidity slider: High for veggies, Low for fruits.
  3. Door Bins: Ideal for condiments, juices, and other items with natural preservatives.
  4. Freezer Drawer: Organize with frozen foods in original packaging. Use the quick-freeze area if available.
  5. Allow hot foods to cool before placing them in the refrigerator.

WARNING! Do not overpack shelves; allow air to circulate for proper cooling.

Care & Cleaning

Unplug before cleaning interior components. Use mild soap and water; avoid abrasive cleaners.

  1. Exterior: Wipe with a damp cloth and dry. Use a stainless steel cleaner for the finish if desired.
  2. Interior: Remove shelves and bins. Wash with warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry.
  3. Dispenser Area: Wipe spills immediately. Clean the drip tray regularly.
  4. Condenser Coils: Vacuum the rear or front base grille every 6-12 months.

CAUTION! Do not use harsh chemicals, ammonia, or bleach on stainless steel or plastic parts.

Replacing the Water Filter

Replace the water filter every 6 months or when the FILTER indicator light comes on.

  1. Locate the filter: Inside the refrigerator compartment, upper left rear wall.
  2. Turn the old filter counterclockwise to remove. Discard it.
  3. Insert the new filter (RPWFE). Align arrows and turn clockwise until it clicks.
  4. Flush the system: Dispense and discard 2 gallons of water.
  5. Reset the filter indicator: Press and hold the FILTER RESET pad for 3 seconds.

WARNING! Do not use the dispenser without a filter installed.
