Diagnostic Procedures

Error Code Retrieval

Access diagnostic mode by pressing specific button sequences on the control panel. Error codes will display on the control panel LED/LCD display for troubleshooting.

Component Testing

Use multimeter to test continuity, resistance, and voltage of electrical components including motor windings, sensors, valves, and control board outputs.

Water System Diagnostics

Test water inlet valves for proper solenoid operation, check pressure switch calibration, verify drain pump functionality and flow rates.

Motor Diagnostics

Test motor windings for shorts or opens, check hall effect sensors, verify motor control board communication and power output.

Control System Test

Verify control board power supply, test user interface functionality, check communication between main board and peripheral components.

Mechanical Inspection

Check drum bearings for wear, inspect suspension system, verify belt tension and alignment, examine door seal and locking mechanism.

Diagnostic Mode Access

Basic Diagnostics

Press POWER + START simultaneously for 3 seconds to enter basic diagnostic mode

Advanced Diagnostics

Press TEMP + SOIL LEVEL + SPIN SPEED for 5 seconds to access advanced service menu

Component Test Mode

Enter service mode and select individual components for manual activation and testing

Error History

Access stored error codes and fault history for recurring issue diagnosis

Calibration Mode

Recalibrate sensors, motor positioning, and water level detection systems

Factory Reset

Restore all settings to factory defaults (use with caution)

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Washer won't power on Power supply issue, faulty control board, door lock failure Check outlet power, test control board fuses, verify door lock mechanism
No water filling Water valve failure, pressure switch issue, clogged inlet screens Test water valve solenoids, calibrate pressure switch, clean inlet filters
Water won't drain Drain pump failure, clogged drain hose, obstructed pump impeller Test drain pump motor, clear drain line obstructions, clean pump housing
Excessive vibration Unbalanced load, worn shock absorbers, loose suspension Redistribute load, replace shock absorbers, tighten suspension components
Loud noises during operation Worn drum bearings, foreign objects in drum, motor issues Inspect and replace bearings, remove foreign objects, test motor assembly
Error codes displayed Sensor failures, communication errors, component malfunctions Reference error code chart, test indicated components, replace as needed

Common Error Codes

  • E01 / F01: Door lock failure - Check door lock mechanism and wiring
  • E02 / F02: Drain issue - Test drain pump and check for obstructions
  • E03 / F03: Water fill error - Check water valves and pressure switch
  • E04 / F04: Temperature sensor fault - Test thermistor resistance
  • E05 / F05: Motor control error - Check motor and control board communication
  • E06 / F06: Communication error - Test wiring harnesses and connectors
  • E07 / F07: Pressure switch fault - Calibrate or replace pressure sensor
  • E08 / F08: Unbalanced load - Redistribute load and restart cycle
