Ice Maker System

Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Adjustable wrench
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Level
  • Water line kit
  • Teflon tape

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Prepare Location: Ensure refrigerator is properly positioned with access to water supply line and electrical outlet.
  2. Connect Water Supply: Connect 1/4" copper or plastic water line to refrigerator water inlet valve. Use compression fitting.
  3. Install Water Filter: Insert compatible GE water filter (model RPWFE) into filter housing and lock into place.
  4. Flush Water System: Run 2 gallons of water through the dispenser to flush air and carbon particles from system.
  5. Initialize Ice Maker: Lift ice maker feeler arm to ON position. First batch of ice will be ready in approximately 24 hours.
  6. Adjust Ice Production: Set ice production rate using control panel settings based on household needs.
  7. Test Operation: Verify ice production and water dispensing functions work properly.
Warning: All water line installations must be performed by a qualified technician to prevent leaks and water damage.

Troubleshooting
