Tools Needed:
- Adjustable wrench
- Level
- Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
- Pipe wrench
- Tape measure
- Gas leak detector solution
Step-by-Step Installation
- Choose Installation Location: Select a location with proper ventilation, away from combustible materials and with access to gas and electrical connections.
- Remove Shipping Materials: Remove all protective films, tapes, and shipping materials from the range surfaces and components.
- Gas Connection: Connect to proper gas supply line using approved flexible gas connector. Use pipe joint compound on all threaded connections.
- Check for Leaks: Apply leak detector solution to all gas connections. Bubbles indicate leaks - tighten connections and retest.
- Electrical Connection: Connect to a properly grounded 120V, 60Hz, AC outlet. Ensure proper polarity and grounding.
- Level the Range: Adjust the leveling legs to ensure the range is level from front to back and side to side.
- Test Operation: Test all burners, oven, and control functions to ensure proper operation before regular use.
