Built-In Dishwasher

Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Adjustable wrench
  • Level
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Pliers
  • Tape measure
  • Drill with bits

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Prepare Installation Area: Ensure cabinet opening meets required dimensions (24" width minimum) with proper electrical and plumbing access.
  2. Remove Shipping Materials: Remove all protective packaging, tape, and shipping bolts from the dishwasher.
  3. Connect Water Supply: Connect hot water supply line to the dishwasher inlet valve using a 3/8" compression fitting. Use only new supply lines.
  4. Connect Drain Hose: Route drain hose to drain connection with a high loop (minimum 20" above floor) to prevent backflow.
  5. Electrical Connection: Connect to a dedicated 120V, 60Hz, 15-amp circuit with proper grounding. Follow local electrical codes.
  6. Level the Dishwasher: Adjust leveling legs to ensure dishwasher is level from front to back and side to side within the cabinet opening.
  7. Secure to Countertop: Use mounting brackets to secure the dishwasher to the underside of the countertop.
  8. Test Run: Run the dishwasher through a complete cycle to check for leaks and proper operation.

Heavy Wash

Light/China Wash

For lightly soiled dishes and delicate china - 2.5 gallons, 90 minutes

Rinse Only

Quick rinse to prevent food from drying on dishes - 1.2 gallons, 15 minutes

Sanitize with Heated Dry

NSF certified sanitizing cycle - 3.8 gallons, 165 minutes

Quick Wash

For lightly soiled loads when time is limited - 2.7 gallons, 60 minutes

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Dishwasher won't start Power issue, door not closed properly, child lock engaged Check power supply, ensure door is latched completely, check child lock
