Installation

Unpack and inspect contents. Place on a level, solid floor.

  1. Remove shipping materials: Remove transit bolts and brackets from rear.
  2. Connect water supply: Attach hot and cold water hoses to corresponding faucets (red for hot, blue for cold).
  3. Connect drain hose: Insert into standpipe or laundry tub; secure with hose guide if provided.
  4. Level the washer: Adjust leveling legs to ensure machine is stable and does not rock.
  5. Plug into a grounded 120V AC, 60Hz outlet.

WARNING! Washer is heavy; use two people for moving. Ensure all connections are secure and leak-free before first use.

First-Time Setup

Power on washer; follow initial setup prompts on display.

  1. Run a cleaning cycle: Before first use, run a Clean Washer cycle (without clothes) to clear any residue.
  2. Fill SmartDispense™: Load compartments with recommended HE detergent, fabric softener, and bleach.
  3. Select language: Use Settings menu to choose display language (ENGLISH default).
  4. Test a load: Run a small load to ensure proper operation and check for leaks.

CAUTION! Do not use regular (non-HE) detergent. Use only High-Efficiency (HE) detergent to prevent oversudsing.

Using Your Washer

Sort and load laundry. Add detergent to SmartDispense™ or directly to basket if not using the feature.

  2. Adjust options: SOIL LEVEL, TEMPERATURE, SPIN SPEED, and any OPTIONS (Extra Rinse, etc.).
  3. Press START/PAUSE to begin cycle. Display will show time remaining.
  4. To pause, press START/PAUSE; to add a forgotten item, wait for door lock to release (may take a moment).
  5. When cycle completes, remove laundry promptly.

Tip: Do not overload. Leave space at the top of the basket for proper tumbling.

Smart Features

SmartDispense™: Automatically dispenses the correct amount of detergent. Refill indicator lights when supplies are low. Adaptive Vibration Control: Automatically adjusts spin speed to balance loads and reduce noise. Precision Dispense: Injects detergent at the optimal time during the cycle for better cleaning.

Care & Cleaning

Unplug before cleaning exterior. Wipe control panel and exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners.

Monthly Maintenance: Run Clean Washer cycle (without clothes) using a washer cleaner or 1 cup of bleach. Clean the detergent drawer and gasket. Check and clean the drain pump filter if needed (refer to manual for instructions).

CAUTION! Do not use harsh chemicals or spray liquids directly on controls. Keep area around washer dry.
