Step-by-Step Installation
- Choose Installation Location: Select a location above your range with proper ventilation and electrical access.
- Remove Old Unit: If replacing an existing microwave, carefully remove it and disconnect all electrical and ventilation connections.
- Prepare Mounting Area: Locate wall studs and mark the mounting bracket position using the provided template.
- Install Mounting Bracket: Secure the mounting bracket to the wall studs using the provided hardware.
- Electrical Connection: Connect to a properly grounded 120V, 60Hz, 15A dedicated circuit. Follow local electrical codes.
- Ventilation Setup: Connect the ductwork for proper ventilation (choose between recirculating or external venting).
- Mount the Microwave: Lift the microwave onto the mounting bracket and secure it according to instructions.
- Test Operation: Test all functions including microwave, vent fan, and lighting to ensure proper installation.
