Opal 2.0 Nugget Ice Maker

Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Level
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Measuring tape
  • Clean cloth
  • Water source connection kit

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a level location near a water source and electrical outlet with proper ventilation around the unit.
  2. Remove Packaging Materials: Remove all shipping materials, tape, and protective films from the ice maker.
  3. Connect Water Supply: Connect the water supply line to the water inlet valve using the provided connection kit. Ensure connections are tight.
  4. Electrical Connection: Plug into a properly grounded 120V, 60Hz, AC only outlet. Do not use an extension cord or power strip.
  5. Level the Ice Maker: Adjust the leveling feet to ensure the ice maker is perfectly level for optimal operation.
  6. Initial Setup: Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds to start the initial setup process.
  7. First Ice Production: Allow 24 hours for the first complete batch of ice. Discard the first three batches of ice.
Warning: All installations must be performed by a qualified installer to ensure proper operation and maintain warranty coverage.

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
