Countertop Ice Maker

Installation Guide

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a level, stable countertop or surface near a water source and electrical outlet. Ensure proper ventilation around the unit.
  2. Remove Packaging Materials: Remove all shipping materials, tape, and protective coverings from the ice maker.
  3. Water Line Connection: Connect the water supply line to the water inlet valve. Use only food-grade water lines provided or recommended by GE.
  4. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, clean the interior and exterior with a mild detergent and warm water. Rinse thoroughly.
  5. Electrical Connection: Plug into a properly grounded 120V, 60Hz, AC only outlet. Do not use an extension cord or power strip.
  6. Initial Setup: Fill the water reservoir, turn on the unit, and run through the initial ice-making cycle to flush the system.
  7. Test Operation: Allow the ice maker to complete several cycles to ensure proper ice production and operation.
Warning: For built-in models, installation must be performed by a qualified technician to ensure proper operation and maintain warranty coverage.
