Step-by-Step Installation
- Choose Installation Location: Select a location with proper ventilation, away from heat sources and with access to electrical outlet.
- Measure Cabinet Space: For over-the-range models, measure cabinet depth and ensure minimum clearance requirements are met.
- Mounting Template: Use provided template to mark drilling locations for wall mounting bracket.
- Install Mounting Plate: Secure mounting plate to wall using appropriate hardware for your wall type.
- Electrical Connection: Connect to dedicated 120V, 60Hz, 15-20 amp grounded outlet. Do not use extension cords.
- Ventilation Setup: Configure ventilation for external venting or recirculation according to your kitchen setup.
- Test Operation: Test all functions including microwave, vent fan, and lighting to ensure proper installation.
