Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Phillips screwdriver
  • Level
  • Tape measure
  • Drill (for built-in models)
  • Stud finder (for over-the-range models)

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a location with proper ventilation, away from heat sources and with easy access to electrical outlet.
  2. Clearance Requirements: Ensure minimum clearance of 3 inches on top, 2 inches on sides, and 1 inch at back for proper ventilation.
  3. Electrical Connection: Connect to a properly grounded 120V, 60Hz, 15-20 amp dedicated circuit. Do not use an extension cord.
  4. Countertop Installation: Place on flat, stable surface. Ensure leveling feet are adjusted for stability.
  5. Built-in Installation: Follow cabinet cutout dimensions precisely. Secure mounting brackets according to instructions.
  6. Over-the-Range Installation: Install ventilation ductwork according to local codes. Secure to wall studs for proper support.
  7. Test Operation: Run microwave for 5 minutes with a cup of water to verify proper operation and check for unusual noises.

Troubleshooting
