Countertop & Over-the-Range Models

Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Measuring tape
  • Level
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Drill with bits
  • Stud finder
  • Pencil

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a location with proper ventilation and clearance from other appliances. For over-the-range models, ensure proper cabinet clearance.
  2. Remove Packaging Materials: Remove all shipping materials, protective films, and packing inserts from the microwave.
  3. Prepare Mounting Area: For over-the-range models, locate wall studs and mark mounting bracket positions. Ensure proper electrical outlet is available.
  4. Install Mounting Bracket: Secure mounting bracket to wall studs using provided hardware. Ensure bracket is level.
  5. Electrical Connection: Connect to a properly grounded 120V, 60Hz, AC outlet. Dedicated circuit recommended. Do not use an extension cord.
  6. Mount Microwave: Lift microwave onto mounting bracket. Secure with mounting screws provided.
  7. Ventilation Setup: Connect vent duct if required. Choose between recirculating or external venting based on your kitchen setup.
  8. Test Operation: Test all functions including microwave, light, and fan operations to ensure proper installation.
Warning: Installation of over-the-range models should be performed by a qualified installer. Countertop models require no installation.

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Microwave won't start Door not closed properly, child lock engaged, power issue Ensure door is latched completely, check child lock setting, verify power supply
Uneven cooking Turntable not rotating, improper food placement, overloaded Check turntable operation, arrange food evenly, reduce quantity
Sparking inside Metal object in cavity, damaged waveguide cover Remove all metal objects, inspect and replace waveguide cover if damaged
Display not working Power interruption, control panel issue Unplug for 1 minute then reconnect, if persists contact service
Fan not operating Vent mode setting, obstruction in vent path Check vent settings, clear any obstructions in vent path

Error Codes

  • F1: Control panel communication error - Unplug for 1 minute

  • F4: Magnetron temperature error - Allow to cool, check ventilation
  • F5: Inverter circuit error - Contact service center
  • F8: Touch panel error - Clean control panel, check for moisture
