Installation Guide
Tools Needed:
- Adjustable wrench
- Level
- Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
- Tape measure
- Water line connection kit
- Drill with hole saw attachment
Step-by-Step Installation
- Choose Installation Location: Select a location near water supply and electrical outlet. Ensure proper ventilation and level surface.
- Prepare Water Connection: Turn off main water supply. Install water supply line with shut-off valve. Use 1/4" copper tubing or GE-approved water line.
- Electrical Connection: Connect to a dedicated 115V, 60Hz, 15-amp grounded outlet. Do not use extension cords or power strips.
- Position the Ice Maker: For built-in models, ensure proper cabinet dimensions. For freestanding models, maintain 2-inch clearance on all sides.
- Connect Water Line: Connect water supply line to inlet valve at rear of unit. Use compression fitting and ensure no leaks.
- Level the Unit: Adjust leveling legs to ensure unit is perfectly level from front to back and side to side.
- Initial Startup: Turn on water supply, plug in unit, and initiate first ice-making cycle. Discard first three batches of ice.

Troubleshooting
