Installation Guide
Tools Needed:
- Adjustable wrench
- Level
- Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
- Pipe wrench
- Tape measure
- Gas leak detector solution
Step-by-Step Installation
- Choose Installation Location: Select a location with proper ventilation, away from combustible materials and with access to gas and electrical connections.
- Remove Packaging Materials: Remove all shipping materials, protective films, and tape from the range.
- Gas Connection: Connect to natural gas or propane supply using approved flexible gas connector. Use pipe joint compound on all threaded connections.
- Electrical Connection: Connect to a properly grounded 120V, 60Hz, AC outlet. Do not use an extension cord for the electrical supply.
- Anti-Tip Bracket Installation: Install the anti-tip bracket to the floor or wall as specified in the installation instructions.
- Level the Range: Adjust the leveling legs to ensure the range is level from front to back and side to side.
- Test for Gas Leaks: Apply leak detector solution to all gas connections. Bubbles indicate a leak that must be corrected.
- Initial Burn-in: Operate all burners and the oven for 15 minutes to burn off manufacturing residues.
