Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a location with proper ventilation, away from combustible materials, on a solid, level floor.
  2. Remove Shipping Materials: Remove all shipping bolts and packaging materials from the dryer.
  3. Gas Connection: Connect to a 1/2-inch natural gas supply line using an approved flexible gas connector. Apply pipe thread sealant to all connections.
  4. Ventilation System: Install a 4-inch diameter metal vent duct to the outside. Avoid sharp bends and keep duct as short as possible.
  5. Electrical Connection: Connect to a properly grounded 120V, 60Hz, AC only outlet. Do not use an extension cord.
  6. Level the Dryer: Adjust the leveling legs to ensure the dryer is level from front to back and side to side.
  7. Test for Gas Leaks: Apply leak detector solution to all gas connections. If bubbles form, there is a leak - tighten connections and retest.
  8. Test Run: Run the dryer through a complete cycle to check for proper operation and ventilation.
