Installation Guide
Tools Needed:
- Adjustable wrench
- Level
- Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
- Pipe wrench
- Gas leak detector solution
- Tape measure
Step-by-Step Installation
- Choose Installation Location: Select a location with proper ventilation, away from combustible materials, on a solid, level floor.
- Remove Shipping Materials: Remove all shipping bolts and packaging materials from the dryer.
- Gas Connection: Connect to a 1/2-inch natural gas supply line using an approved flexible gas connector. Apply pipe thread sealant to all connections.
- Ventilation System: Install a 4-inch diameter metal vent duct to the outside. Avoid sharp bends and keep duct as short as possible.
- Electrical Connection: Connect to a properly grounded 120V, 60Hz, AC only outlet. Do not use an extension cord.
- Level the Dryer: Adjust the leveling legs to ensure the dryer is level from front to back and side to side.
- Test for Gas Leaks: Apply leak detector solution to all gas connections. If bubbles form, there is a leak - tighten connections and retest.
- Test Run: Run the dryer through a complete cycle to check for proper operation and ventilation.
