Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Adjustable wrench
  • Level
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Pliers
  • Tape measure
  • Gas leak detector solution (for gas models)

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a location with proper ventilation, near electrical outlet and venting system on a solid, level floor.
  2. Remove Shipping Materials: Remove all shipping bolts, tapes and packaging materials from the dryer.
  3. Ventilation Setup: Install 4-inch diameter metal vent duct. Avoid plastic or foil ducts. Ensure vent run is as short and straight as possible.
  4. Electrical Connection: Connect to a properly grounded 240V, 30A outlet for electric models. Do not use an extension cord.
  5. Gas Connection (Gas Models): Connect to gas supply using new flexible gas line. Apply pipe thread sealant. Check for leaks with detector solution.
  6. Level the Dryer: Adjust the leveling legs to ensure the dryer is level from front to back and side to side.
  7. Test Run: Run the dryer through a complete cycle to check for proper operation, heating and ventilation.
Warning: Gas dryer installations must be performed by a qualified technician. Improper installation can create fire and carbon monoxide hazards.

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Dryer won't start Power issue, door not closed properly, start button not pressed Check power supply, ensure door is latched completely, press and hold start button for 3 seconds
No heat Thermal fuse blown, heating element failed, gas supply issue Check thermal fuse, test heating element, verify gas supply (gas models)
