Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Adjustable wrench
  • Level
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Pliers
  • Tape measure
  • Pipe cutter
  • Electrical tester

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Prepare Installation Area: Ensure cabinet opening meets required dimensions and has proper electrical and plumbing access.
  2. Remove Shipping Materials: Remove all protective films, tapes, and shipping blocks from the dishwasher interior and exterior.
  3. Connect Water Supply: Connect hot water supply line to the dishwasher inlet valve using approved braided stainless steel hose.
  4. Connect Drain Hose: Install drain hose with high loop or air gap device to prevent backflow into the dishwasher.
  5. Electrical Connection: Connect to dedicated 120V, 60Hz, 15-amp circuit with proper grounding. Follow local electrical codes.
  6. Level the Dishwasher: Adjust leveling legs to ensure dishwasher is perfectly level from front to back and side to side.
  7. Secure to Countertop: Attach mounting brackets to underside of countertop to prevent tipping during operation.
  8. Test Run: Run the dishwasher through a complete cycle to check for leaks, proper drainage, and electrical operation.

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Dishwasher won't start Door not latched, power issue, control lock activated Ensure door is fully closed, check power supply, deactivate control lock
Poor cleaning results Spray arms blocked, improper loading, low water temperature Clean spray arms, rearrange dishes, ensure water heater is set to 120°F
