French Door Refrigerator

Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Adjustable wrench
  • Level
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Tape measure
  • Water line kit (if connecting to water supply)

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a location with proper ventilation, away from heat sources and direct sunlight, on a solid, level floor.
  2. Remove Packaging Materials: Remove all shipping materials, tape, and protective films from the refrigerator.
  3. Adjust Leveling Legs: Adjust the front leveling legs to ensure the refrigerator is level from front to back and side to side.
  4. Connect Water Supply (Optional): For ice maker and water dispenser models, connect to a cold water line with proper shut-off valve.
  5. Electrical Connection: Connect to a properly grounded 120V, 60Hz, 15A dedicated outlet. Do not use an extension cord.
  6. Clearance Check: Ensure proper clearance - at least 1 inch on sides, 2 inches at back, and sufficient space for door swing.
  7. Initial Setup: Allow refrigerator to stand upright for 4 hours before plugging in. Set temperature controls and run initial cooling cycle.
Warning: All installations must be performed by a qualified installer to ensure proper operation and maintain warranty coverage.
