Installation Guide

Space Requirements

Ensure adequate clearance for door swing and ventilation. Minimum 1-inch clearance on sides, 2-inch clearance at back, and 1-inch clearance at top.

Leveling

Use adjustable front leveling legs to ensure refrigerator is level from front to back and side to side for proper door operation.

Water Connection

Connect to cold water supply line using 1/4-inch copper tubing or GE-approved water line kit. Install shut-off valve within reach.

Electrical Requirements

Connect to dedicated 115V, 15A, 60Hz grounded outlet. Do not use extension cord or power strip.

Initial Setup

Allow 24 hours for refrigerator to reach proper temperature before adding food. Install water filter and flush system before first use.

Door Alignment

Adjust door hinges if doors are not aligned properly. French doors should meet evenly at the center.

Installation Steps

Step 1: Positioning

Remove all packaging materials and position refrigerator in desired location

Step 2: Leveling

Adjust front leveling legs until refrigerator is perfectly level

Step 3: Water Connection

Connect water supply line and install water filter

Step 4: Power Connection

Plug into dedicated grounded outlet

Step 5: Initial Cooling

Allow 24 hours to reach proper temperature before loading food

Step 6: Final Check

Verify doors close properly and all features are functioning
