Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Unit won't turn on | Power issue, circuit breaker tripped, faulty outlet | Check power cord connection, reset circuit breaker, test outlet with another device |
| Poor cooling performance | Dirty filter, blocked vents, outdoor temperature too high | Clean or replace filter, clear obstructions from vents, check outdoor temperature |
| Water leaking inside room | Unit not tilted properly, drain holes blocked | Ensure unit tilts slightly outward, clear drain holes of debris |
| Unusual noises | Loose parts, debris in fan, unbalanced installation | Tighten all screws, clean fan area, re-level the unit |
| Unit cycles on/off frequently | Thermostat setting too high, dirty condenser coils | Adjust thermostat setting, clean condenser coils |
| Remote control not working | Dead batteries, signal obstruction, distance too far | Replace batteries, ensure clear line of sight, move closer to unit |
