Countertop Ice Maker

Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Level
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Measuring tape
  • Clean cloth
  • Water source access

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a level, stable countertop near a water source and electrical outlet with proper ventilation around the unit.
  2. Remove Packaging Materials: Remove all protective films, tapes, and packaging materials from the ice maker.
  3. Connect Water Supply: Connect the water supply line to the water inlet valve. Use only food-grade water lines provided or recommended by GE.
  4. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, clean the ice maker interior with mild soap and water, then rinse thoroughly.
  5. Electrical Connection: Plug into a properly grounded 120V, 60Hz, AC only outlet. Do not use an extension cord or power strip.
  6. Level the Ice Maker: Adjust the leveling feet if necessary to ensure the ice maker is perfectly level.
  7. Initial Cycle: Run the ice maker through three complete ice-making cycles and discard the ice to clean the system.
Warning: All installations must be performed by a qualified installer to ensure proper operation and maintain warranty coverage.

Troubleshooting
