Step-by-Step Installation
- Choose Installation Location: Select a flat, stable countertop near a water source and electrical outlet with proper ventilation around the unit.
- Remove Packaging Materials: Remove all protective films, tapes, and packaging materials from the ice maker.
- Clean Before First Use: Wipe the interior and exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Never use abrasive cleaners.
- Connect Water Supply: Fill the water reservoir with clean, filtered water. For plumbed models, connect to a cold water line with included adapter.
- Electrical Connection: Plug into a properly grounded 120V, 60Hz, AC only outlet. Do not use an extension cord or power strip.
- Initial Setup: Allow the ice maker to sit upright for 2 hours before first use if transported horizontally.
- First Ice Production: Press the power button and select your desired ice size. First batch may take 15-20 minutes.
