Step-by-Step Installation
- Choose Installation Location: Select a flat, stable countertop surface away from heat sources and direct sunlight with at least 4 inches of clearance on all sides.
- Remove Packaging Materials: Remove all protective films, tapes, and packaging materials from the ice maker.
- Clean Before First Use: Wipe the interior and exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Never use abrasive cleaners.
- Water Reservoir Setup: Fill the water reservoir with clean, cold water up to the maximum fill line. Use filtered water for best results.
- Electrical Connection: Plug into a properly grounded 120V, 60Hz outlet. Do not use an extension cord or power strip.
- Initial Setup: Press the power button and select your preferred ice size setting. The first batch of ice may take 15-20 minutes.
- Test Run: Allow the ice maker to complete its first cycle and discard the first batch of ice to ensure cleanliness.
