Double Wall Oven

Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Adjustable wrench
  • Level
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Wire strippers
  • Tape measure
  • Voltage tester

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a location with proper ventilation and adequate clearance from combustible materials.
  2. Remove Packaging Materials: Remove all shipping materials, protective films, and transit bolts from the oven.
  3. Prepare Electrical Connection: Ensure proper electrical supply - most GE double ovens require 240V, 40A dedicated circuit.
  4. Install Mounting Frame: Secure the mounting frame to the cabinet structure using provided hardware.
  5. Connect Electrical Wires: Connect the oven wires to the household electrical supply following local codes and regulations.
  6. Slide Oven into Place: Carefully slide the oven into the prepared opening and secure with mounting screws.
  7. Test Operation: Test all oven functions including both upper and lower ovens, broiler, and convection features.
Warning: Installation must be performed by a qualified electrician or installer to ensure safety and maintain warranty coverage.
