Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Adjustable wrench
  • Level
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Tape measure
  • Voltage tester
  • Pipe wrench

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a location with proper ventilation and adequate clearance from combustible materials.
  2. Remove Packaging Materials: Remove all shipping materials, protective films, and transit bolts from the range.
  3. Gas Connection (if applicable): Connect gas line using approved flexible connector. Apply pipe joint compound to male threads only.
  4. Electrical Connection: Connect to a properly grounded 240V, 60Hz, 40A circuit. Hardwired connection required.
  5. Anti-Tip Bracket Installation: Secure anti-tip bracket to floor or wall according to instructions to prevent tipping.
  6. Level the Range: Adjust leveling legs to ensure the range is level from front to back and side to side.
  7. Final Check: Check all connections for leaks (gas models), ensure proper grounding, and verify level installation.
  8. Initial Burn-off: Run all burners on high for 5 minutes to burn off manufacturing residues.
Warning: All installations must be performed by a qualified installer to ensure proper operation and maintain warranty coverage. Gas connections must be checked for leaks using soap solution.

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Induction element not heating Incompatible cookware, incorrect pan size, control lock activated Use magnetic stainless steel or cast iron, ensure pan covers element, check control lock
